"LTL Taiwan was a good choice for me. I really liked my classes and both my teachers (Eden and Shu) were great. They really know how to teach. I really enjoyed my time here, and I'm actually coming back to study here some more next month. Can't wait!"
"LTL was super. With my teachers Anna and Willy I studied 4 hours per day. The teachers were very friendly and adaptive to my needs. I gave them suggestions and new ideas for his methods, and they adapted around that."
"Regarding Ren, she's one of my favourite teachers ever. She's great. We like to talk about all kinds of things. Vocabulary for research, which is great because I'm on a doctorate program and will be doing interviews. We talked about all kinds of stuff."
"I really enjoyed my time in the mainland but wanted to try something different so having noticed that LTL opened a branch in Taiwan, I jumped at the chance to join. I really like it, it's a great place to learn Chinese. I'd love to come back to LTL again."
"The first week my teacher was Jessie. She was the best, probably one of the best teachers I've ever had for any language. The teachers connect to make sure we continue from one to another. At the school itself, the space is a really good."
"I love the way teachers go to lunch with students. It's friendly and social, they are very open to answering questions. Doesn't feel strange and was really generous and helpful. I liked that they always started with review of previous day."
« LTL Taiwan was a good choice for me, I considered going to one of their schools in mainland China, but in the end decided to come to Taipei so that I can learn traditional Chinese characters.
It’s my 4th time to come to Taiwan, so I managed to adjust quite well even though i find that daily schedules here vary quite a lot to the Philippines.
I really liked my classes at LTL, both of my teachers (Eden and Shu) were great. They really know how to teach. They both used lots of different books and teaching materials, which were really convenient for me to take home to review and keep learning lots of things.
Each teacher had their own approach, for example Shu told a lot of stories in Mandarin. She’d make me read them and then explain it again in English to her to check that I’d understood.
Eden’s approach was a little different, she focused more on business, learning new vocabulary related to specific topics that we covered in the textbook. She also used to make sure that we reviewed everything to check that I’d understood, and if i forgot something we’d always review it again.
I really enjoyed my time at LTL, it was great, and I’m actually coming back to study here some more next month. Can’t wait!«Â

The teachers were very friendly and adaptive to my needs. For example, I gave them suggestions and new ideas for methods, and they adapted around that.
One day went to hospital and had to miss class. Willy helped me reschedule with Anna for the Saturday. This was very helpful for me.
I chose Individual classes because didn’t want to study with other students. I wanted to maximize own time. Despite this hanging out with new students was no problem at all.
Everything was good and I’m happy with my time at LTL.
Taipei is a really nice city. The buildings are very modern, clean and orderly. The people are very nice and the quality of life is good đ«Â

« My teachers were Willy and Ren.
Both are great teachers, very willing to accommodate what I want to study.
I have Willie by myself in mornings and we are going through the HSK 4 book. He gives new stuff to talk about every day.
Regarding Ren, she’s one of my favorite teachers ever. She’s great.
We like to talk about all kinds of things. Vocabulary for research, which is great because I’m on a doctorate program and will be doing interviews.
This is therefore very relevant to me.
We talked about gender equality and all kinds of stuff. »

« I originally came to LTL in 2015 at the Beijing School. I spent 2 weeks there and a week in Chengde.

I really enjoyed my time in the mainland but wanted to try something different so having noticed that LTL opened a branch in Taiwan, I jumped at the chance to join.
I’ve been to Taipei a few times including partaking in an Internship here also. I really like it, it’s a great place to learn Chinese. There are noticeable differences with the mainland but it’s still very good.
The food is awesome too, I’ll miss that a lot!
I have two teachers for my individual classes in Taiwan, Samantha and Francince.
Samantha was my teacher on Tuesday and Thursday. We mainly covered HSK content as I wished. We didn’t quite finish the textbooks, but near enough. On the whole she was very good.
Francince and I covered two levels of Chinese business content. She was very patient with me and really good. She tailored the lesson to what I wanted and was happy to explain cultural aspects of life also.
Most of the places I took my parents were because of her recommendations so I must thank her for that.
I’d love to come back to LTL again in the future. Thanks a lot! »

« Amanda and I were planning to sign up in TMI, but we wanted a Homestay experience also. Google showed LTL so we came here!
This was my second time in Taiwan. The homestay included two kids, 7yo daughter and 11yo son. Two separate apartments which were located on the 4th and 5th floor.
I had a room for myself, with a big bed and desk. The family was really nice, especially the mom.

Azren, heureux d’ĂȘtre en Chine !
The first week my teacher was Jessie. She was the best, probably one of the best teachers I’ve ever had for any language.
Jessie was very adaptable and very quickly moved to new questions. She was also a really kind human, we got along really well.
She would notice things that I say wrong, and then make material for the next day, helping correct it. Very relevant to me.
Perhaps the biggest thing was, she would do exactly what I wanted to learn, at my pace.
Due to this I advanced very quickly.
For the remainder of the course I had Willy and Wanrun. Willy is a very, very friendly guy, really easy to get along with. Willy is adaptable as well, also very open to suggestions, flexible with how we’re learning.
The teachers connect to make sure we continue from one to another. Teaching methods are not the same though.
At the school itself, the space is a really good. It’s quiet, there are drinks and ice cream. I didn’t expect that! »

« With my teachers Tammy and Shu Laoshi, I liked that they always started with review of previous day. We would have breaks on very scheduled basis, it was very orderly.
Tammy was a bit more free-flowing, would go as long as we wanted. Would have breaks if we wanted. In this regard, it was good to have different styles. Best of both worlds.
Before starting at LTL, I wasn’t advanced, but I knew a lot of the basics. There seems to be a jump up in the class – very beginner or speaking conversationally. Gauging someone’s level before starting the course is good and helpful.
I love the way teachers go to lunch with students. It’s friendly and social, they are very open to answering questions. Doesn’t feel strange and was really generous and helpful. »
